What to Rent: Question

I'm thinking of renaming this page "What to Rent". What do you think (is there anyone out there to think? Please comment just yes or no will do.

Introduction

My purpose here is to list and review a series of movies that I consider to be great. I don't anticipate that all will be loved by everyone, in fact that is the point of my reviews. I know too many people who find themselves stumped when looking for movies to rent or stream. Netflix recommendations are good, but there are so many that it can be as unhelpful as having none at all. Here you will find only really wonderful, well worth watching movies with a brief, non-spoiler synopsis, a short review and primary cast listing. Hopefully this will be helpful to all those I know and some I hope to know who need some guidance in this area.

Some of these movies I assume almost everyone has seen, but in case there are some who have missed them I will include some of them here. I will also point you to the place I think is the best starting point for great movies, the AFI top 100 lists: http://www.afi.com/100years/. Almost all of the movies on those lists are worth seeing although even there one will find the over-rated, the dated and the just plain odd. More likely you will find movies that just don't fit your taste. I hope that my short reviews will tell you whether a movie is for you, without ruining it with too much information.
